Description

This industrial bistro table has a height-adjustable steel table base and a charred old oak tabletop.
The table is adjustable from 76cm to approx. 114cm high and can be used as a lunch/dining table (low) or as a bar table (high).

This charring technique is called Shou Sugi Ban and is inspired by centuries-old Japanese traditions.
The tabletop has been treated against spots with an ultra-matte 2K lacquer that’s almost invisible; it seals the wood completely so it won’t rub off and remains odorless.

The tabletop is made of thin, sun-burnt old oak (cut from the exterior of old beams) glued onto furniture board. The outer edges are crafted from solid planks.
