Industrial reclaimed oak dining table heigt adjustable – DT03

This bold industrial table features a cast iron height-adjustable base, adjustable from 76cm to 114cm high. It can be used as a dining table (low) or with bar stools (high). The tabletop, approximately 7cm thick, is made of thin sun-scorched old oak (sawn from the exterior of old beams) glued onto furniture board. The outer edges are made of solid planks.

Because the oak has spent decades as facade cladding in the sun, it has acquired a beautiful patina. This sun-weathered oak is reclaimed construction wood. Where old joints once were, there are holes in the planks. These holes are filled with wooden blocks of the same sun-weathered oak—take a look at the detail photo in the images. The dimensions of the example table in the photo are: L 325, W 100cm.

This table is fitted with our adjustable mechanism. The top can be set between 76 cm and 114 cm high. The same table works as a dining table (low) and as a bar table or standing desk (high).

We build the height mechanism from sturdy, high-quality materials and parts. Turn the hand wheel to move the gears and raise or lower the top.

For heavy tops we recommend our heavy-duty mechanism. Extra gears make even large tops easy to adjust. You can add it on request.

This table is made from a special sustainable wood: reclaimed old oak.

For years, this wood served as cladding on farm barns in Central Europe. There, rain and sun have given it a beautiful natural patina.

By reusing old oak in a new table, this distinctive material gets a second life. That reduces the need for new timber and helps preserve nature while lowering our ecological footprint.
