Description

This industrial bistro table features a height-adjustable steel table base and a charred old oak tabletop (Doesn't rub off).
The table is adjustable from 76cm to approx. 114cm high and can be used as a lunch/dinner table (low) or as a bar table (high).

This charring technique is called: Shou Sugi Ban and is inspired by centuries-old Japanese traditions.
The tabletop has been treated against spots with an ultra-matte 2K lacquer that’s almost invisible and seals the wood completely. This ensures the wood won’t rub off on your clothes and is completely odourless.
The tabletop is made from thin, sun-weathered old oak (sawn from the outside of old beams) bonded to furniture board. The outer edges are made of solid planks.

The dimensions of the example table in the gallery are 100x91cm.
