Industrial oak dining table with metal base custom made – DT37

This oak dining table features a robust tabletop and a steel table base, giving it a bold industrial look. The tabletop is crafted from sun-burnt reclaimed oak (sawn from the outer layer of old beams) glued onto a furniture board. The outer edges are made from solid oak planks.

Because the oak has been discoloured by the sun for decades as exterior cladding, it has developed a stunning patina. With its modern look, this table pairs perfectly with various interior styles like industrial, rustic, and, of course, modern. The tabletop has been treated against spots.

This table is made from a special sustainable wood: reclaimed old oak.

For years, this wood served as cladding on farm barns in Central Europe. There, rain and sun have given it a beautiful natural patina.

By reusing old oak in a new table, this distinctive material gets a second life. That reduces the need for new timber and helps preserve nature while lowering our ecological footprint.
