Description
This robust "Batenburg" table is crafted in our workshop based on an old refectory table design.
The tabletop, approx. 7cm thick, is made from thin sun-aged old oak (sawn from the exterior of old beams) glued onto furniture board. The outer edges are made of solid planks. Because the oak wood spent decades as exterior cladding in the sun, it has acquired a stunning patina.
The tabletop is treated against spots. Other wood colours or finishes are always open for discussion.
The dimensions of the sample table in the photo are: L 325, W 100cm.

Reclaimed oak
This table is made from a special sustainable wood: reclaimed old oak.
For years, this wood served as cladding on farm barns in Central Europe. There, rain and sun have given it a beautiful natural patina.
By reusing old oak in a new table, this distinctive material gets a second life. That reduces the need for new timber and helps preserve nature while lowering our ecological footprint.

Transporting a table is free in the Netherlands. It's delivered to your home by our regular professional partner. Delivery to an upper floor or basement is possible; check our shipping page for full details.

You don't have to pay the full amount straight away. We ask for a 15% deposit for custom pieces. The remaining balance must be paid before the table is shipped.
