Description
This Basel refectory table is our own design and was handcrafted in our very own workshop.
The tabletop, approx. 5.5cm thick, is made of solid reclaimed oak. Because the oak spent decades as exterior cladding in the sun, it has developed a beautiful patina.
The tabletop has been treated against spots.
Dimensions: H76, Ø150cm

Reclaimed oak
This table is made from a special sustainable wood: reclaimed old oak.
For years, this wood served as cladding on farm barns in Central Europe. There, rain and sun have given it a beautiful natural patina.
By reusing old oak in a new table, this distinctive material gets a second life. That reduces the need for new timber and helps preserve nature while lowering our ecological footprint.
