Round refectory table from solid old oak – Cluny – Z020

This Cluny model refectory table was designed by us and is handcrafted in our own workshop. The Cluny table is inspired by original old refectory tables used as dining tables in medieval France. The tabletop, roughly 6cm thick, is crafted from sustainable solid old oak. This oak spent years as exterior cladding, sun-faded to give it a stunning patina.

This table is made from a special sustainable wood: reclaimed old oak.

For years, this wood served as cladding on farm barns in Central Europe. There, rain and sun have given it a beautiful natural patina.

By reusing old oak in a new table, this distinctive material gets a second life. That reduces the need for new timber and helps preserve nature while lowering our ecological footprint.
